For eight days, from Saturday, November 14 to Saturday, November 21, 2026, the entire city of Kamakura becomes the stage for Mindful City Kamakura Week, a co-creative festival. Marking its 10th anniversary, this year's Zen2.0 theme is “Wa: The Symphony of All Creation.”

Tickets are available through three main passes. Please choose the option that fits your schedule and interests.

1. Zen2.0 10th Anniversary Special Pass (All-Access Pass)

This pass grants full admission to all four flagship events hosted by Zen2.0 to celebrate our 10th anniversary (Nov 14, Nov 18, Nov 20, and Nov 21).

3.MCKW Exhibition & Community Programs

Throughout the week, over 30 organizations will host programs across Kamakura—held in historic temples and shrines, traditional kominka homes, along the coastline, through forest trails, and inside local cafes and galleries. Experiences range from Zen practice and somatic bodywork to forest meditation, Shojin ryori (monastic cuisine), music and silence, and deep inquiries into the era of AI.

Each program is independently organized and operated. Fees, capacity, registration, and cancellation policies vary by program. Please review the details on each specific program page carefully before booking.

*Please note: Exhibition & Community Programs are not included in the Zen2.0 10th Anniversary Special Pass.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Which events are included in the Zen2.0 10th Anniversary Special Pass?

The pass covers the four events hosted by Zen2.0: the Opening Ceremony (Nov 14), Roshi Nanrei Yokota’s Special Lecture (Nov 18), the 10th Anniversary Special Forum (Nov 20), and Zen2.0 at Kencho-ji (Nov 21). Exhibition & Community Programs held across town are not included and must be booked individually through their respective organizers.

Until when are Super Early Bird tickets available?

Limited to the first 30 passes. Sales will end once this limit is reached, regardless of the date, so we encourage you to secure yours early.

When does Early Bird pricing end?

Early Bird pricing is available through October 31. Standard pricing will apply starting November 1.

Do I need to show proof to purchase a student ticket?

Yes. Please present a valid student ID at the reception desk on the day of the event.

Do I need to register separately for each event after purchasing the Zen2.0 10th Anniversary Special Pass?

No additional registration is needed. Purchasing the Special Pass grants you admission to all four eligible events hosted by Zen2.0.

Can I participate only in the Exhibition & Community Programs?

Absolutely. You are welcome to register directly for individual programs, even if you do not hold a ticket for any Zen2.0-hosted events.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Cancellation policies for Zen2.0 hosted events can be found on their respective ticket pages. For Exhibition & Community Programs, policies vary by host—please check each program's detail page for details.

Will tickets be available at the door?

Subject to seat availability for each event. Advance purchase is highly recommended.
