INK IN TOUCH

The experience begins with a display of a collection of hand painted sheets folded and wrapped up individually in different Furoshikis. Once you have selected the art piece that you want to be accompanied by during your journey, the sheet gets unfolded and the art fully unveiled. Then it is installed on a futon where the treatment will take place and the art will serve as a support for your narrative as well as for your body. By the end of the 2 hour session when the client is in a liminal state a gesture inspired by ikebana is performed by adorning their head with fresh flowers. This gives an impression of a crowning ceremony where each person gets to embody their own avatar. This unique moment is captured by photography to immortalise the ephemerality of the encounter of the healing arts with the visual arts: the beauty of the non tangible is made tangible through paint and flora.
この体験は、さまざまな風呂敷に一枚ずつ包まれた、手描きのシーツを選ぶところから始まります。
これからの時間をともに過ごしたいと思う作品を一つ選ぶと、そのシーツがゆっくりと広げられ、描かれたアートの全体が姿を現します。
選んだシーツは施術用の布団の上に敷かれます。そこに描かれたアートは、身体を支えるだけでなく、その人自身の物語や感情を引き出すための存在にもなります。
セッションは約2時間。終盤になり、心も身体も日常から少し離れたような穏やかな状態になったところで、生け花から着想を得た演出が行われます。新鮮な花を頭に飾り、その人自身を一つの作品のように仕上げていきます。
その姿は、まるで自分自身のための戴冠式のようでもあります。一人ひとりが、普段とは少し違う「もう一人の自分」をまとい、自分だけの存在として表現される瞬間です。
最後に、その特別な姿を写真に残します。
癒やしとアートが出会う、ほんのひとときの体験。その儚さを写真として残すことで、目には見えない感覚や美しさが、絵や花を通して形あるものへと変わっていきます。
